Day 14: We only stayed in Rockport for a night and so we drove again all day. We drove to a city near the OCEAN called Anacortes, WA. There we ate at a restaurant that had REALLY good chowder. The city has a city park were we set up camp for 4 or 5 nights. The water is awesome but a little bit FREEZING my dad and I ducked our heads under and I never warm up ‘till I took a shower. The beach was really rocky and hurt my feet. Oh yeah we also saw a seal that the family that we were with said it was a really friendly seal with one eye. So we called it One Eyed Willy or Blinkey.

Day 15: We woke up and ate a bowl of Lucky Charms and by the way my mom barley ever buys that so she is actually is a health freak. We went for a ten miles bike ride and me and my dad and picked some blackberries and they were great. After the bike ride we went to eat at a little restaurant called the Calico Cupboard and it was all homemade and delicious. We took a nap back at the campsite. Then the rest of the day was dinner, fire and bed.

Day 16: Today we went to the beach that is near the campsite where we found many starfish, shells and barnacles. Ian found the starfish and barnacles. I found the shells and I found 2 really cool shells that will add to our collection. Dad was riding his bike through the campground collecting wood that was half burnt from other campsites. Heehee. We just about had the biggest campfire EVER tonight. It was so big we had to give some wood to two people.

Day 17: Today was an exiting day we drove our car and camper onto a ferry and we are going to a San Juan island called the San Juan Island. When we got here we ate a place called the Rocky Café. I had a cheese omelette that was REALLY good. Then we took another nap in the camper that is set up at a 55$ horrible campsite. Then we went to try and find a beach and we found a beach where you can take a long walk on this trail that ran along the ocean. While we were there we got to see a whole pod of orcas that are world rare. My dad said we were really lucky to be able to and that we were like 1 in a thousand people to see one of those.

Day 18: Today we woke up and had breakfast then we went to an old American Camp. There we found a little cove called Grandma’s Cove. It was very sandy and Ian had a great time playing in the waves. We then came back to the camper and had a leftover lunch and a siesta. Then we went to a beach called a Rueben Tarte Park. We checked out a really cool resort that had it’s own beach. BEAUTIFUL. We are on an island in the San Juan Island and tomorrow we will go to Vancouver Island. P.S. We saw more whales today and it was really amazing.

Day 19: We have entered Canada! We went to a whale museum and then we took a Ferry to Sidney, BC. It really is cool driving the car and camper on to a boat. We drove to a little town called Nanaimo where we found a campground by a lake with an awesome bike trail and a beach. We went out to dinner and that was really good and that’s all.

Day 20: We woke up and went on a bike ride around the lake and then went swimming for a while and had a BLAST! We than chowed down some ice creams. We came back from the lake and went to the Gathering Place at the campground and played a game of pool and foosball. Of course the women won both! Mom and dad had heard about a floating pub and restaurant that sounded kind of good so we took a small ferry over to a restaurant that was floating! On the way we saw a little seal on the boat. We ate some really good fish and chips and then went back to the campground and had some bunt cake. P.S. My mom is still not a junk food junkie.

Day 21: We woke up and decided that we should go to a really nice beach that some people told us about so we drove to a town called Qualicum. We got to the beach and we saw a seal lying on the beach yelping. It was a baby with the umbilical cord still in sight. We left it alone because my mom read that the mom could not come back if humans are near it. Then some people came and started poking it with a shovel and making it really mad at them, it was an awful sight. We played at the beach a little more then decided we should go to the open ocean were the big wave are. So we drove to Tofino and ate a Chinese place ☹. We got back at about 12 at night and were EXHAUSTED.

Day 22: Today we woke up and went for a bike ride near the harbor and the ice cream budget has gone to an extreme high. We saw a seagull try and eat a starfish, but I through a rock at it and t flew away and dropped the starfish in the water. Ella is the Hero. We challenged some people to a foosball we won one and they won one. Goodnight! P.S. my mom swan out to the raft on the lake and after we scared about this sickness you can get by the fish pee and bird poop.

Day 13: Today was another day of driving. We finally got to a cute little campground in Rockport, WA. And we are going to Anacortes, WA in the morning best part is it’s on the ocean. Right now we are in a lake and river kind of campground. We said our goodbyes this morning but it was kind of sad I mean they were so nice to us and we had nothing to give them. ☹ P.S. We also saw a moose today.

Day 6: Today we went to Glacier National Park. My dad and Ian went on a canoe this morning and found a rope swing and a pair of nesting loons and their eggs. We heard that Dave’s wife bought some huckleberry lotion and wore it on a hike through the park, when Dave looked at the bottle and it had said “Don’t use in bear country.” Witch was exactly were we were. Heehee. Anyway we took a tiny walk and then went up the Mountain to the visitor’s lodge.

Day 7: First week of vacation yippee. Today we did a lot of nothing we just drove all day. We drove to Coeur d’ Alene. Where we stayed at a campsite that had a FREEZING swimming pool and a store. We stayed 2 nights and bought this chemical thing that made the fire turn green, blue and purple. Though it gave mom and dad headaches it was very cool I think. That about all that happened today.

Day 8: Our next day here and we have decided to go for a bike ride. We drove around the lake that was next to the campsites to a little town called Harrison, Idaho. Where we rode on a really easy trail that took us to a cow ranch and 1 cow had gotten out of the fence and it was thinking when we rode by it that we were herding it so it was running in front of us. We tried to get past it when another cow got loose from the fence and then it ran back but the 1 was still there we so called heard it until it too ran through the fence back in the ranch. Luckily the owner wasn’t there.

Day 9: Today we drove to a valley called Spokane where we are going to see the fireworks tomorrow night. We stayed at very nice campsite with pool, playground and best of all 10 cent York candies, no just kidding there were every night movies on a screen in the front of the campsite. Cool huh? Tonight they are playing the new Alice in Wonderland with Jonny Depp. I watched about half then got tired and went back to the camper. Mom was already there of course.
July 4th: Well today is the day and we will be going to see Fireworks tonight. And we didn’t do much at all today except go and see fireworks tonight and just so you know it was the best fireworks I have seen in a long time. The Finale was breathtaking! So many fireworks at once it was crazy!

Day 11: Today was another day of driving, from Spokane to Winthrop, a really cute little town where everything looks like the olden days. It was really cool. We went to a campground where every campsite had a little beach that led to the lake that was there. Dad started talking to the neighbors and they invited us to go water skiing and tubing so the next day we went and had a blast. They were really nice people and we became really good friends and had to stay another night to get one more day of tubing and skiing.

Day 12: Another awesome day and I fell off the tube and got the wind knocked out of me. SCARY! Forgot to say that now were in Washington and it is gorgeous! Today we hung out by the lake and that was about it. I got sun burnt around my eyes. OUCH! It hurt a lot!

Day 3: Today we drove all day! We drove from Park City to Dillon, Montana. The drive took us through Idaho, which wasn’t very exiting. We stayed the night at a little RV park the actually had showers and bathrooms. All clean! Short day I know.

Day 4: Then we drove way north to Whitefish, Montana where we ate at a friend’s pizza place. YUMMY! His name was Dave and he owns Second Street Pizza. So we are spending the night at Dave’s house with his family Sue, his wife LD, his son at 1 years old and last, his Daughter at 4 years old named Layla. We are going to stay 3 nights.

Day 5: Dave lives on a lake and they have a paddle boat so we hung out by the lake almost all day today and it was a blast. Some neighbors came over and we had a delicious lunch of some sandwiches from the Pizza Place. YUMMY!
